York Residents’ Festival 2024

In celebration of the 28th Residents’ Festival – The Polite Tourist is offering York residents an exclusive opportunity to walk awhile on SATURDAY JANUARY 27 2024 through the snickelways and streets of our wonderful city with the Lady Brigante, our erstwhile sleuth and storyteller.

For those of a curious and hardy temperament – why not come along and listen to the Lady Brigante on the EVENING of SATURDAY JANUARY 27 2023 as she shares with you the tales of those ordinary folk who have ALL been lost to history – until now!

However, for those of a sensitive nature who are averse to real stories of tears, heartache and tragedy – an EVENING walk with the Lady B may NOT be to your taste.

A valid YORK CARD or identity card with proof of York Residency MUST be offered prior to the beginning of your walk.
